| Superjet on Lake Lewisville After a 7 year hiatus I picked up a Superjet on Father's Day - WOOT WOOT. I got it from Joe Gregorek in Austin - who some of you might know or have heard of.
Here's the rundown on it ATM:
94 SJ701 - FP B-Pipe, Riva head (rec domes - 170-ish psi), mod 46mm SBN, mod stock CDI, Vilder-style flame arrestor of some sort, dual-cooling, AC pole, Solas I prop, Pro-tec toploader, Ocean Pro rideplate, 500 gph bilge pump w/dash mt switch ...
The motor is fairly fresh, less than 2 yrs on new crank/pistons/bore. It has no choke cable (choke is still on carb) and no primer, but fires at the touch of a start button. Joe has it tuned well and it pulls real good, however, I'm a little rusty and I've gotten very out of shape in the last 7 yrs, so I fell a lot and wore out quickly in the chop. "She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts."
I live about 5 miles from Pilot Knoll Park and Shady Shores on Lake Lewisville, so say hello if you see me out there.
