Riding Saturday at Canyon Lake

Hey guys, we are heading to Canyon Lake this saturday to do a little riding. Anybody know how the 2 ft drop in the lake level in the last couple of weeks has affected the lake?

Also, we will be at the Ft Sam Rec area, so if anybody wants to stop by and say hello, please do. We will have a 2004 900 STX (red), and a 2003 Ultra (green...cause green is faster) anchored together.

Last question? I'm a big guy, 5' 9" and 230 and would like to try riding a standup. Any ideas on if you can rent one anywhere?? Thanks.

Mike and Sharon

Re: Riding Saturday at Canyon Lake

Mike,
Sorry I missed your post. We live on the north side of the lake and ride most weekends (and during the week if possible). I have a couple standups you can try out anytime. My cell is 713-805-3962. It's usually me and my 13 year old (750 SX & 650 SX). My wife has a Yamaha FX SHO, but does not ride as much as us. Call me anytime.
Thanks,
Jim

Re: Riding Saturday at Canyon Lake

Jim,

Thanks for your response. I might take you up on your offer. I'm not sure when we will get back out to the lake. I'll take your number and give you a call we schedule a trip up there. I would definetly like to try the 750. I'm a little under the weather this weekend, but we might get out there next weekend on Sunday.

Mike

Mike,
You got it. Hope you feel better soon. We're usually out there Friday-Sunday. Just give me a call when you plan to head this way.
Jim
