440/550/X2 project skis ready for new home. Pearland, Tx

I have the following projects with titles and clean transferrable paperwork if anyone is interested. I will update with pictures and year info if there is any interest.

I AM NOT PARTING THE SKIS OUT AT THIS TIME.

The parts are worth way more than what I entend to sell as "Projects". The idea is if anyone local is interested, then I would strike a deal and pass this off to the next guy. I bought everything below + a 440. I finished the 440 and will keep it for a while. The other projects just arent going to happen and I have other projects I want to work on. Please keep posts to this thread in case others have the same question. All skis are either late 80's or early 90's. I will update when I get home with better details.

The 440/550 stuff will need to all go together as you will probably get one nice ski with the combined parts. The X2 is pretty much a hull.

1. 440 (no engine)
19XX (front pipe)
Hull and stock pole in great condition. Stock pump and prop turns freely. Looks like engine was pulled and never replaced.
(See below for extra parts.)

2. 550 (no engine)
19XX freestyle ski (front pipe). Hull has "trailer ram" hole in the front. Hull is in bad shape but has all the steering goodies, quicksteer plate, nice bars. Engine also pulled and never replaced.
(See below for extra parts.)

3. X2 (no engine)
19XX. Hull is in OK shape. Pulled motor last week and its a boat anchor. Rusted out all the way. Came with aftermarket carb and intake that I am cleaning up. Pump doesnt turn but I havent located the problem yet. Could be wear ring. I think it has aftermarket prop. Stock plate. Stock steering, not sure if its squirell cage or not, will check later.

4. Nice 2 place trailer currectly set up for stand ups. Needs light lenses replaced but electrics work.

Extra Parts for 440/550:

clean 440/550 tank (not yellow)
smooth 550 rotating assembly
smooth 440 rotating assembly
good 440 cylinder
good 550 cylinder
set of 440 pistons, oversized (no rings)
set of 550 pistons, oversized (no rings)
aftermarket 440/550 bed plate, aluminum
550 factory half pipe, does not have adapter to connect to 550 exhaust
Rend extended and dual finned ride plate
Mariner ride plate and matching intake grate
various carbs (need to measure intakes)
aftermarket flame arrestors, ocean pro, k&n, etc
aftermarket intake manifolds
aftermarket shaved head
extra starters (unknown condition)
aftermarket exhaust manifolds
various extra stock heads
stock ride plate
various new gaskets/complete gasket kits
various straps
boxes of hardware

Let me know if you see a project you like. Im not looking for a lot of money but the trailer and the aftermarket parts will need reasonable compensation.

Sorry, didnt get the new pics yesterday. The X2 is in the corner right now. I will look over the hull for problem areas tonight and get some better pics up. Here is a cluttered garage pic to hold you over.

Price depends on if you want the BCW mani and Mikuni carb. Its all I could salvage from the motor. Carb is not cleaned up but looks decent. Also forgot about the stainless prop. Cant vouch for the condition but there is one in there.

Hull + title = $50
Hull + Mani/Carb = $120

Re: 440/550/X2 project skis ready for new home. Pearland, Tx

Updates:
Ski 1 is an 81 440. Its a super clean hull and nice mounts clean inside and everything. Pics show it with the really nice rotating assembly and clean tank.
Ski 2 is an 88 550. While taking pictures I realized I forgot to mention some things. This one came with an aluminum nose brace, riveted limiting strap and strap brackets and handle pole spring. There was a reed motor inside but I found bad crank seals after digging into it. Upper section and intake still look good.
Box of stuff. Has ocean pro intake, some aftermarket exhaust manifolds, vortex arrestors, k&n filter in there and other stuff. Full inventory can be supplied if requested.

If you have sent me PM on pricing or questions on parts, please hold off for a few days so I can get situated for a part out. I will get back to you and give first dibs in the order I recieved PMs.

Also, I will make a new part out thread this weekend and everyone can start lowballing my asking prices . Should be fun!!!
