| Wave jumping performance for XLP's Hi everyone, (new to this site) I have a 2001 XPL with a stg 1 rossier kit... carbon tech reeds, prok F/A, jetted, head shaved. (probably going to pull the motor and rebuild the top end)
That being done I would like to hear anyones input on making my ski hit hard out of the hole for wave jumping...My thoughts were a Worx grate for pick up, and maybe an impeller (what pich for a stock pipe 15/20? and what pitch for a coffman ???) posably reed spacers(what thickness) or v force's instead of the carbon techs.....
I have a coffman pipe, been sitting on my shelf for a couple of years now, not sure I want to use it ( or need to) for wave jumping and extra cost to make it work not to mention ( micro tach ect....) And I would also like to do something with the stock sounding water box, any alternatives? TDR??? Thanks!!!! |
