SXR impros hooker impeller

Hey guys,
I have been advised by my retailer that this impeller is the way to go with my setup. They say they have had good results with it. I can't find any info about this as it is new. I have a tbm super pump cone sitting new in the box ready to go to match up with the impeller. Anyone got any info/experience.

Impros Hooker 10/16 Kawasaki SXR Freeride Impeller

For anything from a stock 701 to a strong limited set up. This one is our most popular for people who want to maximize bottom end.

I have a wetpiped SXR with 81 mm nozzle/head/tbm grate. I'm running the stock prop at the moment turning 7200 rpm.

Re: SXR impros hooker impeller

I run a 9/17 with a -6mm cutback in mine, as well as a TBM cone.

Might almost have too much hookup.

Re: SXR impros hooker impeller

I am running the Solas 13/22 5mil cutback with the TBM on my SXR. I believe we have the same mods. I really like this setup but I do want to try this new hooker impeller. The 13/22 -13/21 is for for racing.

I run a 9/17 -6mm and a TBM cone on my 550. I really dig it.

Re: SXR impros hooker impeller

I will be fitting it next week when I get back home. I will stuff around with the different TBM pump cones and report back. I only freeride/surf so hopefully it produces the goods.

Re: SXR impros hooker impeller

Well, I took her out on the river with the long TBM pump cone to check out the loading on the prop and to my surprise I was still able to turn 7200 rpm. Hookup is awesum. Bottom end was good too even with the long cone. The next day I put the stubby TBM cone in and hit the surf with a mate on his X2. All I can say is Frickin insane bottom end!! I love it. Didn't have a chance to check max rpm with this setup due to conditions but no doubt it will be higher than 7200. Once again I don't know how much of an impact the TBM supercone has on the setup but I know for sure the combo works great for my needs. I'm hooked on the hooker.
