supertrapp tuning

Yo, I have been running with 12 disks and the open cap. Has anyone found the best number for a low end js550? Thanks

Re: supertrapp tuning

i used to run 12, on my old 550, with an open cap, and washers in between.

hard to say on yours. each ski is different. do some testing. see what works for you, and your set up / goals.

Re: supertrapp tuning

This is all that I could find on tuning when I was playing around with mine. I am at 15 disks and the end cap is solid.

Re: supertrapp tuning

Thanks blrider for the info and thanks to wayniac for the originals. I read the post with the instructions he uploaded. I guess I try 8 disks and see how that feels. thanks again for the input.
