RXP air intake location

I have a buddy with a 2008 RXP 215 and I am going to help him put in a custom air intake. Where would the best location for this be (I have heard of rear seat or up front)? and we are also thinking about doing something with the exhaust.. If anyone has pictures of either or any advice of what to do that would be great. Thanks

Re: RXP air intake location

Just be careful that you route it in such a way that you keep water out

Re: RXP air intake location

I have a custom 3" intake that wraps around the motor up to the front, placing the filter at the highest point of the ski, just near the handlebar linkage. It has a Riva filter on it. Be sure whatever intake you put in doesn't sag and touch the accordian bellows around the shaft, the ski will fill up with water very quickly! Ask me how I know. As for exhaust, I have the Riva rear system with the resonator deleted, sounds mean in the water!
