I have a 96 Kawa 1100ZXi and I am getting all my parts together for my build here in a couple of weeks. I have decided on a shredmaster ride plate and Worx sponsons. Only thing left undecided is what intake grate I want to go with and what impeller. Some background info on the lake is it can be choppy at times especially on the main lake which I will be on from time to time because you have to go across it to get to other places on the lake. I know a lot of you are racers so with that in mind I won't be doing any racing except for the friendly running around with friends for recreation. So I am just needing something that is good for recreation but still has good performance and will hook up nicely in the choppy water when I am going across the main lake, but will also work nicely in calmer waters. Now when I get the impeller should I upgrade the pump? Will it make a difference and compliment the impeller if I do so?

So any suggestions on what intake grate and impeller I should go with?

Once again.
Good choice on the Shredmaster, the ZXI is like the Ultra 150 a rocket fired off without tail fins the ride plate fixes the tracking and much for. Solas grate worked good and a Solas prop.
