conversion prop

im getting ready for a 650 conversion ski, im going to be putting a mildly ported 650 1mm over, 44 sbn with a jetpro exhaust in a js with a 550 pump, ive seen a lot about 17p and a little higher, for a 225 pound guy that would like lots of bottom and fair high ened what would be a good prop choice? i was looking on ebay and saw an 18/23 would that be too high for good bottom end?

Re: conversion prop

You will have tons of low end with a 17. I am running a 15/20 and have more than enough torque out of the hole. I think an 18/23 would be too much for the veins in the 550 pump. The pump is the cork in the conversion system anyway.

Re: conversion prop

BLRider and hfrull both have run the 15/20 and seem to like it. I will be running the same as well this coming summer.
