Carbon Reeds? Good or Bad?

Are carbon reeds anything like boyesen or v-force? i can get them pretty cheap from someone. Just looking for some opinions. no problems like chipping?

carbon reeds of which brand? I know a lot of people who would say stick with fiberglass.


Boyesons have bad gapping problems, though if you call them ask ask, they say their "new" reeds are coming pre-stressed towards one side to prevent this gapping.

The advantage of the Vforce reeds is having a steeper angle, with less travel the reeds open (and close) to their maximum much faster. Kawi reed blocks are better than yami's in this regard as they are longer with a steeper angle, not like the stubby yami blocks.
This is why Vforce reeds have better snap and throttle response.
