I've tried R&d, macc & worx and didnt really like any of the. I run the TBM plate and like it. Jonny swears by the JD and stock plates.

Re: Anybody racing a new type x-2

When I had mine, I tried the R&D, Worx, Stock, stock with holes, Bullet Carbon and TBM. Of all of them, the one that I thought handled the best was the TBM. The only other one I really liked was the bullet carbon plate. If I would have kept the ski, I would have cut holes in the bullet carbon plate, I think that would have been the ticket. Just my opinion. It is a a great ski. It is WAY harder to ride than a blaster, but if you can ride it in race chop, it is the fastest ski in the class for sure.
