Any activities going on around or in Key West at this time? Not just ski related, but anything at all. We will be bringing down our F12X to do some sight seeing and such. Are there a lot of public boat launches? Is there any place special to ride to and see? Anywhere to stay away from? Is there a major theft rate down there for ski's? Sorry for so many questions, but I have not been there since I was 10 years old, and that was 23 years ago. My wife booked this vacation for us since that is where she wanted to go.

If anyone wants to get together and ride near there, let me know.

There is one public launch in KW, where Truman ave (US1) meets First st. Parking is tight however. The only other decent launch is on Stock Island at the marina there.
You can always just cruise around the island(s), if you observe the speed limits/no go areas you will be OK and will have a good time..
Theft is a real problem in KW, because of all the bums living under the trees and in the shadows everywhere.........(good weather brings these bums to the area).
Just keep your stuff locked up and you will have no problems, they only steal stuff if it's easy to walk/drive away with.

I think she booked us at a place called The Inn @ Key west. Are there any beach like areas that we are allowed to pull up on there? Anywhere in particular not to go. I will have my GPS with me so I can hopefully find my way around okay. Thanks for any help.
