ANYONE go to the new VIRGNIA KEY BEACH in Key biscayne???????????

Hey Guys/Gals,

FYI...

I have been taking my 04 R12X to the newly remodeled Virginia Key Beach in Key Biscayne and I gotta tell you it's pretty cool. First off we can beach our skis, and there is a air conditioned bath house with new stalls, urinals, and showers! There is also a cafe with multiple flat screen TVs! It use to be a segregated beach back in the old days, now it went a major restoration thru Miami Dade County. Plenty of orginized parking and pic nick tables on the beach! best off all its a 2 minute ride from the boat launch in key biscayne. ANYONE RIDE THERE HIT ME UP>>>THE MORE THE MERIER!

Is that just past Marine stadium and the Seaquarium, on the ocean side of the road just before the second bridge?

I go there all the time. It is really nice. I go there allot with my buddy even before it reopened. My buddy and I have a pair of r12x's and I also have an old x2 that I take there from time to time when it wants to work. It a cool place but I feel that some one is going to get hurt there. There is always guys riding to close to the shore there trying to splash people in the shore. There are signs posted that say not to swim but people still do it.

Dude is your ski a white and black r12x with an exhaust mod. I heard the ski there like two weeks ago and it sounds like a monster 'I like it"

Ill have to check it out sometime. I know that a lot of money was spend to restore the park. For many years it was unused and neglected.

I am always looking for someplace to beach and get lunch. On my boat, typing up to a dock or seawall is easy so I can go to a number of places. On the ski, beaching is by far easier as seawalls and docks were just not made with skis in mind.

And now for the kicker question. Bathrooms with AC are a nice touch - but do the showers have hot water????? I like to rinse off before getting food.

where exactly are you talking about?

the stadium is on the left after the toll.

then there is the cuban/hatian beach on the right.

then jimbos on the left.

then the seaquarium on the right, before you hit the biscayne bridge.

between what two points, and on which side, are you talking about?

it cant be the beach on the right..... the last time i went to that beach, it had rubbers and needles in the sand.

....i got away with it though
