It's like 50 miles to Bimini. U don't need to refuel unless your boosting all the way there.

Re: 09 Miami to Bimini

dude have you ever driven out at sea? I mean like more than 5 miles into the ocean? Your ski will swallow a lot of fuel just beacuse you fighting ocean swells tides current. You will most likely not make it on a 15 gallon tank of fuel, i can bet money on that. The distances that they tell you these ski's go on a tank of fuel is based on touring near the coast or in a lake.

I know you can't boost all the way there, first you'll fly off the ski when you start hiting swells at 60 mph and second you run outta gas. If would be good to plan this with maybe at least one boat on the trip, things happen sometimes when you least expect them even on new ski's.

with all due respect, i KNOW i will make it on my 15f on one tank. depending on the ski your riding and of course riding conditions and all other variables, this will all vary.

Re: 09 Miami to Bimini

Likewise, with all do respect we CAN make it. break downs n **** like that would BE a problem so we would need contingency plans etc, I can use a 32 ft donzi to follow the crew and let me boy take my ski. load up the boat with suppplies etc.
