racing at Havasu landing

all PWC racers have been invited to race an APBA event at Havasu landing jan 16.17. the entry fees should be about 60 per day per racer. Jeff Conat will be allowing us to be set any course that we want. he said we can do a sprint mid day, then if we want we can have 30 min endurence. this will be great exposer for the sport! for more info please contact me

Thanks! Is there going to be a Beginners and Juniors class? Do we need to buy a full one year APBA membership or is there such thing as a one day card? This would be our first race.

There will be novice classes however the classes will be ran in the same heat. one heat for standups and another for runabouts. I totally engourage you to come race. its a great race to start at. I know some novice standups. You dont need to buy the full membership. I think the single event is 20 dollars.

Anything "cool" going on in Havasu next week, or the week after?

yes there will be a junior class. the other standups would just need to be courteous to the little ones.

Sweet. A race in our region. I'm in. This post would probably be better located in the racing section, just because you could probably get racers from Nevada and Cali too.
