Marinez Lake Yuma

Couple of us from San Diego are going to be riding Martinez Lake and the river this weekend, We will try and get a little riding in late in the day Friday, then be riding all day Saturday, and Sunday morning. Just wondering if any one else is going to be out there, maybe meet up for some riding, We'll have a couple of stand ups and couches so all are welcome.

Re: Marinez Lake Yuma

we are usually there and launch out of fishers landing
we head into Furgeson as there is less traffic there, and fun ski boats to jump waves off of
we will probably be out later Saturday or Sunday

i have to say.... i am surprised that this are is not a hot spot for AZ jetskiers
free ramp
great facility
easy to get to (sort of)
nice warm weather, some diverse riding terrain
not to much of a hassel from the law, but again we tend to stay out of the river

i know there are some other "sweet" spots to the area, but so far we've truly enjoyed Furgeson

I think Phil will be around this weekend too
i just hope my shoulder holds up, really did a number on that one sub which almost front fliped me in the water, it hurt badly
her breathing and upper back has been bothering her too (seasonal changes do that to her)

but....
looking forward as this may be the last time we can get out this year

you can do a search for my name on x-h20 and see her ski photos, easy to spot her ski
