Salt Springs Pre Season Practice 2-13-10

Just wanted to let everyone know that Salt Springs has gotten about 11 feet of water and with this next storm it only adds to it. Opening weekend is Feb 13th and I talked with a few racer's who would like to get a pre season practice in. Let me know and I make some chili and have the bond fire going.

Awww Debi you did the same thing last year on Valentine's weekend and I had to miss it. Jean and I always go on a Valentine's weekend 2-up motorcycle ride in Sonoma every year. Gonna miss opening weekend again this year......

Re: Salt Springs Pre Season Practice 2-13-10

greatest Sub EVER ! ! ! Straight down and as I cartwheeled over the trees and debrie I noticed she didNOT come back up. I swam back up stream and ontop of the trees at water level and could hear her - glubbGlubb - After probing for a minute or two, THERE SHE WAS. wedged 4 to 5 feet down. Ahhhh but I carry a tow rope so I dove down being careful not to be trapped and also careful not to loose her. And as OOU BUDDY SYSTEM WORKED / Jerimy was there to tow her back wards and we drug her to an island. AHHHHHH GOOD TIMES BUT I learned CamoJoe will jump a bush that only I would. GREATEST MEMORIES EVER = No passing on the right...

JB subbed a Kawasaki Ultra?
AWESOME, but it sounds like a one tree length safe zone wasn't in effect.... whats up with that?
Glad you all had fun and the mighty 88 boat still lives!

Re: Salt Springs Pre Season Practice 2-13-10

took me over a 3 minutes to find her down there... A LOOOOOOOOOONG 3 LMITUTES IT WAS INDEED. WE had fun JimBob and as for the one tree length rule, WHAT EVER. Janeway and Cottle got an award for running each other over, and I have hit CamoJoe 3 times this year already... And when I see him I will hit him again for not helping me up the boat ramp this time. Can't help but hit yamahas. They have been in the way since Mendosa and Slammin Sammy Peterson for two drcades, now it is CamoJoe / SkiClinic / And them two brothers I can't tell apart. THE 88 NEEDS SOME 'NEW' PAINT. thier yamaha paint that is

Re: Salt Springs Pre Season Practice 2-13-10

Sounds like we're gonna be seeing little superjets painted on your hull ... cool idea, they did that on war planes and it was pretty intimidating to the enemy! And from what I recall - Janeway and Cottle got an award for stopping my heart and you got one for re-starting it... and I can't tell the difference between Eddie and Greg either. The day they swap skis to mess with the scorekeepers - we're gonna be in trouble. Wish I could have been there to get video of the worlds longest recoverable submarine by a kawi but someone wrote a song about it... God is great, beer is good, and standup jetskiers are crazy.
