Hey guys... over the last 7 months, Memo and I have become really great friends... and he loves DJSA just as much as anyone, so if you can, support him on Saturday Jan 30th at noon...
Thats the flag drop for the 24 hour race of Daytona... Hes going to be the primary pilot of the Doran Racing Team so look for the #77 black and red Mcdonalds prototype Car...

If you have the speed channel - this saturday at noon - they will have 24 hour coverage...

I don't know if my heart can take this.... I just rushed home from work, grabbed an iced coffee, and am one hour into watching the earlier recording of the Daytona race where I just watched THE SAME GUY WHO RACES THAT #3 Kawi sxr with all you guys - run that #77 Ford from an 11th place start ALL THE WAY TO 1st place - IN THE RAIN!!!!

MEMO GIDLEY - "You are like a God to me!"

I'm glad they go off the air after 7 hours. It will give me time to delete all of last year's nascar races to make room for the last 9 hours of Daytona. (tony who?)

Coverage continues at 7am and goes all day till the end!

This guy is incredible - but we already knew that...
Keep it going Memo - and stay safe brother...

As Jim says Memo and the whole Doran Racing crew are awesome. The race continues this morning at 7 am eastern on the Speed Channel. When they went off the air last night they were in 11th. Cant wait to see the conculsion to this race.

good job memo I always knew and thought to myself that a watercraft racer could dominate in rain racing conditions in a racecar and he proved that to be right on the mark..................its kinda like racing into the first turn with all that spray only its a little bit longer awesome..........
