DJSA norcal vs socal 2010???

So I've missed this event for the last two years and I figured I'd get a head start on any info I can so I DON'T miss it this year! So....

Will there be an event this year?
Any Ideas yet on WHERE it will be? (I don't mind making the drive to NorCal, but Central would be nice for everyone)

You only missed one. We didn't run one in 09 because 2 different series were taking place in 2 different regions. It was too difficult trying to get schedules to match up but stay tuned for a possible re-match this year. DJSA will be running an 11 race point series and a 5 race enduro series in 2010, but if there is equal interest from both regions for a shootout rematch we'll make it happen.

We should have a Shoot out this year, because I feel like putting the smack-down on some So-Cal riders! The freestylers down there definitely don't have a chance!

The last shootout was awesome but I do think stunts is right on it being in a central location..So then we will see how many Nor Cal guys hop in their car and sack up..Remember it always easier racing in your backyard than it is to make the drive.

I guess what I mean is the last shootout didnt have a lot of SoCal guys because it was such a long distance...

Sorry I never got a chance to snap pics of the Lake Webb/Buena Vista site. Every time I moved a load to SoCal it was either foggy as all get out or the sun wasn't up yet. The one time I thought I had a good shot at taking pics was the day before Thanksgiving and there was a gnarly pile up on the freeway - I actually passed Derrick and the Ski Clinic family on the freeway a few minutes before hand. We were lucky to not be right in the middle of that mess.

Since I have absolutely not intention of making that drive any time soon, I hope you're able top get in touch with a local - perhaps Tony Kwolek or some of the crew from the Fresno/Bakersfield area ('Crockett???) and have them scout it out for you. Either way, I'll place a very comfortable bet that the awesome freestyler's in region 2 will whip up on the one or maybe two freestylers still competing in SoCal...but when it comes to closed course, Region 1 will leave you guys in the dust

Lake Isabella would be a nice central(ish) place. Plenty of shore line camping and great scenery! Only problem is the wind whips through for a bit every afternoon, but other than that it's a great place! I have pics of that place I can post.
