crazy fun and kinda stupid...

Made a run from miller all the way past the confluence of the Feather, way past Elkhorn...there is a marina there and can't remember the name.

Went about another 5-7 miles...on the way back found a small channel with a pretty good current coming out of it...made my way up slow and then found myself cruising pretty fast. Went about 3-4 miles cutting turns and it was crazy fun...had no idea where I was going and did not know where it ended...it was a total blast...had never cruised such a tight channel like that...

Problem was I was by myself and had no idea where I was going..."crazy fun and kinda stupid"...next time I get somebody to come along...man, it was cool...but stupid. Tell me u never did anything like that before...

Re: crazy fun and kinda stupid...

I have a channel/rive that's about 2 miles long on the lake I live on One day late last summer I did almost the same thing except my trip ended when I found a dam... tight turns are a BLAST! But for sure should always take someone along... I think we all get a little crazy stupid now and then I guess its true anything fun is dangerous from time to time...

Re: crazy fun and kinda stupid...

The slough by Discovery park is fun when the water is high. But i wouldn't go in there unless someone is riding with me. I've seen shopping carts, furniture, tires and junk people just throw in there.
