Dang.
Skiwi class is giving 50% back for the team that comes in 1st which could equate to an $1800 purse for someone..

Starting this thread for NorCal folk interested in going this year as a participant, pit crew or spectator.
This is such a long race it does not really matter what you're on. I went past many world class racers last year on a VX! The trick is not breaking down or running out of gas.
We have a number of veterans, 4 of which will be at the polar run on the 1st Jan.

Teams are looking for pit crew, quads, chain link fence etc...
The more teams the better, everyone helps out.
Stand ups are especially welcome.

I was thinking about running this year's Hahn as an Ironman. Unfortunately due to finances it will need to wait until 2011.

I won't be racing this year afterall. I will be there with my quad and tote to help in the pits. So far I have commited to help the team of Paul Pham and Pat Roque. I was also planning to assist Stan and Ricky if they still need my help.
Tony Kwolek and I will be there to lend a hand where-ever needed.

If you are able to get some free time Hefner and I currently only got two people for a pit crew. If Tony and yourself are able to help just a little it would be greatly appreciated! See ya next weekend!

Cost would be about $500 each including gas / lodging.
