15th Annual New Years Polar Run (Pictures)

Today was a great day and a great way to start the year and the decade. We had some new members make the trek to Miller Park in Sacramento, California. The sit downs started first with their 42 mile ride towards the Sacramento International Airport. The X-2's and Stand-ups had some buoys laid out courtesy of John B. aka Safety Ski aka Teamski.

It the water temp was 48 degrees. We got some minor rain during the middle of the event, but hey...we are getting wet already. People stopped by to watch and take film. McDonald's Double Cheese Burgers and Chicken Sandwiches were provided to put something warm in their stomach. And John B. aka Safety Ski aka Teamski brew some wicked Pig Dog Slop for the guys and gals.
