xpl stator question

hello bill,
ive got an 00 seadoo xpl, do you know i can use either an rfi stator # 420887951 or a DI stator 420888652 in it? ive got both here brand new and not the correct part # im looking for of course..

I do not think so. A stator for a carbureated model, I believe is 180W and the fuel injected stators are well over 200W stators. I am not an electrical engineeer and I have not ever tried to do that. Maybe if you had the rectifier from those models, it might work, I really don't know. Also, if I remember right, the magnets in the fuel injected magnetos are wider than the magnets in carb model magnetos, or was that 4 tech mags ?
