What do you use to seal 951 Exhaust

Hey Bill,

What do you use to seal up the 951 exhaust head pipe to the chamber?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Re: What do you use to seal 951 Exhaust

I use the orange high temp silicone in a tube. But the most important thing is to properly align the two parts so the one seats into the other properly or it would leak no matter what sealant you put onto it. The trick is to loosen all of the pipe mounting bolts on the engine so it CAN align properly before you try to seat the two pieces together and tighten the clamp just snug enough to hold them seated, then tighten the mount bolts, then finish tightening the clamp on that joint.
