Impeller question

Hello Bill.

I need a new impeller for my 94 xp. Stock 657X.

I can get a new in the box Scat Trak 13/21 for a very good price.

Would that be to much prop for a stock engine?

It would replace a stock Sea Doo impeller in very bad shape.

The ski ran 49 mph and turned 6900 rpm with the banged up prop.

Thanks. John

Re: Impeller question

Why not send STB your old banged up prop, which cannot be in too bad of shape if you are truely getting 49 mph out of it, and for a very small fee, they will exchange it for one that is as good as new ? Quick and simple..

You can go into the Skat website and look up what impellor of theirs that they say will fit your model. I think a 13/21 may not be the best choice, but I would still go there and see if I am right or not. Been a very long time since I last bought a new impellor for that model. I could be mistaken.
