coffman tail pipe mod. 2 mm. pictures
when bill spoke of wideing the tail pipe 2 mm to keep pistons running cooler. did he mean the inner pipe? or outter as this pic shows.

He meant the inner pipe. Enlarging the outer pipe will do nothing.

rossiers stinger is already bigger than coffman. what does a smaller stinger do? give u more top end?

If the EGT is high and/or you are sufferring detonation problems, enlarging the stinger can relieve the backpressures in the tuned pipe and help control piston heat and detonation.
