carb jet kit

Bill, I am rebuilding my 2000 GTX 951, stock carb. Ski is all stock. I am considering your rejet kit but could you tell me the pro's of your kit vs leaving stock jets?
thx!

Re: carb jet kit

It is a night and day difference from the stock jets. It really wakes up the ski! I highly recommended Bills kit!

Re: carb jet kit

Vikesfan can you say what the dif is? Higher rpm? How reliable is it? I'm hoping to get more reliability out of the ski.

Re: carb jet kit

I have had the jet kit on for about 2 years now and haven't had any issues from the jet kit. I did notice an increase in RPM (I'm at about 7200 RPM according to my stock tach) and an increase in overall power. The biggest difference was how much stronger the acceleration was. I also changed out the impeller and took out the stock airbox and added prok filters when I changed out the jets so I'm not sure what the jet kit alone would have changed, but I'm very happy with the results.

Bill,
I would like to order a kit for GTX 2000 CARB. Your website link seems to be dead.

Re: carb jet kit

I also have a 2000 GTX (951) and would like to get the carb kit as well, but had no luck with the website.

Re: carb jet kit

Yeah I know, the website is down, Micro Soft has screwed up my shop computer email address again and I'm not there to fix anything just yet.
Please call the shop at 626 914 9509 and ask for Chris he gets there at noon usually, but he is an excellent spokesperson who knows his stuff as a top notch tuner after working for me and Bullett for the past 15 years or so.

My air filter and rejetting kit will give any stock otherswise great running Sea Doo 947 well over an extra 100 rpm or more, add about 1.5 mph without any other changes to the motor or impellor. We have sold viturally hunderds of these kits and everyone seems to like the results, just ask around here at this website where dozens of buyers have my kits. A great bargin at $175.00 for a basic 947 rejetting kit with quality air filters.

We can tailor your kit to your motor, be it stock or a modified engine, with or without the accellerator pump working. Low or high altitude. High compression head and pipe no problem. We can also send along a few extra parts that may save you at least $50.00 or more and repair most normal carb problems, i.e. two new fuel regulator diaphrams, 2 new filters, new fuel pump diaphram. and even a new accellerator pump diaphram if needed, which can save you from buying two complete rebuild kits, for a few dollars more. I only send genuine Mikuni parts. My kits include 4 new jets, two new needle valves and two new springs, two R&D cone type air filters and complete instructions for tuning your motor ( which if done to spec is probably not more than setting the idle speed in most cases ).

Or, you can send your carbs to us and let us detirmine what parts it needs and what it does not need, then rebuild and rejet them and send them back with new filters. We have a very quick turnaround time. We also stock many used carbs in case yours need some minor part that may have gotten ruined or broken. All carbs are pressure tested before returning them.

We have been working with Mikuni Sea Doo carbs since 1988. We have what you need and know how to use it.
I also carry most any other aftermarket product as well as new and some good used oem parts.
