Bill I Would like info on ur 951 filter/jet kit!

Hi Bill,

Im in Australia and would like to know how much it would cost for your jet kit and filter kit for my '99 XPL? What are the advantages of going this way? Will I need to tune the hi/lo's? Do they come with good installation instructions? Ive allready stripped the carbs before and cleaned the screens and passages ect.

Also how much would they be shipped to South Australia, Australia post code 5066?

And how much would 2 carb kits be aswell for my ski?

Re: Bill I Would like info on ur 951 filter/jet kit!

All will cost you $175 USD plus whatever it cost to send them by US postal service to your address. The weight is 2lbs.

You run the hi and lo's in basically the oem position and I include complete instructions with the kits.

I sell Genuine Mikuni carb kits, not aftermarket. $95.00 for two rebuild kits with purchace of the rejetting kits.

My kits include two R&D cone filters, 4 jets, two needle valves, two springs and full installation and tuning instructions. You must specify if your accellerator pump is functioning and you plan on keeping it, or you want the kit for use without the accellerator pump functioning. ( I suggest keeping it for a rec boat if it works, and fixing it if it doesn't ) For racing boats, I perfer to eliminate the accellerator pump and adding a primer kit ( $30.00 extra with rejetting kit ).

A stock motor will gain about 120 rpm or so with the kit if all else is functioning properly.

If your motor is highly modified with such things as an aftermarket exhaust, raised compression, ect, please specify what you have as the kit jetting specs will need to be adjusted to better fit your engine.

As I am at home, you will need to contact Chris at my shop, 626 914 9509. He can get shipping and billing info and talk about your setup with you so that we only need to ship it once and get it right.

You cannot converse with me easily on this computer that I may or may not see for several days at a time.

Re: Bill I Would like info on ur 951 filter/jet kit!

Thanks for the info Bill

My accelerator pump is working (well I can hear it squirt fuel into the carby throats when I pull on the gas)

I had the carbs apart only a month or so ago and cleaned them and put them back together, how do I tell if they need a carb kit? It SEEMS to be running fine.

Also I dont have a pop-off tester, this isnt necessary to install your kit is it?

Cheers,

Chris

You can normally get away without a PO tester and my kit because the parts are all new.
