44BN question

Bill,

I have a 650sx mariner head west coast exhaust and K&N. It has a 44bn and i am wondering where i need to start with the 3 screws to get it running.

Re: 44BN question

That would be an old "round body " BN carb. I have never had much luck tuning an old worn round body. The pilot adjuster is best left alone.
The low speed adjuster needs to only be opened enough to get the thing to accellerate in the water.

The high speed adjuster is adjusted according to the look of the sparkplugs, you want them some shade of brown after a full throttle "plug chop.

The best advice is get an SBN carbureator.
