2002 gtx di poor idle

I looked through the shop manual and did a search on here also but was wondering if there is an idle adjustment screw on the 2002 gtx di. My ski idles poorly at times. It isnt always a problem but sometimes when you go to dock it it will idle down to the point it shuts off. It doesnt do it all the time but it just seems to be idled a small bit too low. Maybe a quarter of a turn of the idle screw would get it up just a bit. I did not ride the ski this weekend my girlfriend did. The ski i was on which is the same model did not do this but the one she was on did it a couple of times when we were docking them. I am not sure what the rpms were at idle since i was not on it. From listening to both of them running it does seem that one is idled lower than the other.

Re: 2002 gtx di poor idle

Do not start tuning any screws on your throttle body to reset the idle. Read up on it in the srevice manual. Your idle is set using a computer at Sea Doo dealerships.

Re: 2002 gtx di poor idle

Thanks Bill. I do not think it is a problem that is worth taking to the dealer and paying the hefty service charge just to bump the idle up. Will just ride it the way it is.
