Yamaha 845 big bore

Harry,

How much would an entire Yamaha 845 freestyle engine run me, including everything?
(Ie: starter, carbs, crank, factory pipe, carbs, etc...) I have heard that there are conversion plates that allow you to drop this engine into an X-2 (old style). Would this be a good idea? How would this compare to one of those PJS 800 big bore top end that bolts right onto a 650 bottom?

Thanks

Re: Yamaha 845 big bore

I'm not aware of any conversion plates .... but someone may make them.

Complete engines are very hot property nowadays, & we don't have any on hand. You would likely be best to aquire an existing engine, and send it to us for the build-up.

Respectfully, Harry Klemm
