Sleeved 750 cylinder

GroupK,
I purchased a used cylinder that was re-sleeved and I didn't know that at the time of purchase. What I did notice is that the transfer port holes in the new sleeve don't match up vertically with the aluminum casting (the casting is still 1/8" taller than the top of the sleeves openings. Ironically the transfer port holes are the same dimensionally as an sxi even the depth from the top of the cylinder. It seems as though with the new thickness of the sleeve that the channels that the fuel flows through to get to the transfer holes in the sleeve are now going to be smaller too.

Can you offer some insight?

Thank you,

Kurt

Re: Sleeved 750 cylinder

I'm not sure exactly what the question is .... but a couple of photos might be helpful regardless.
