| Re: GroupK 850 SXR Big Bore kit question. Michele,
We have done "alot" of 849s to date, and we have not encountered any level of vibration that is noticably worse than an 82mm (781cc) motor with the same mods. That said, the high rpm dry-pipe setups do have a wicked vibration at high rpms (7600-7800) ... but that is the case for both 781cc and 849cc SXRs.
We have done many stock piped 849cc Sleepers in-house, and they seem to run very smoothly at all speeds (they normally peak between 6900-7000 rpm).

My question is about the problem of engine vibrations associated to the big boring.
Unlike the Sea Doo big twins (880 and 951) that use a counterbalance shaft to cut vibrations the OEM Kawasaki engine is build without it
Attending that you use a very consistent boring (85mm) and conscious that in any case your kit is not a high rpm package I'm asking myself which could be the reliability problems associated to the lack of a balance shaft
Thank you
