| Air Filter Jetting question
Hello Harry,
Just wanted to get an answer from someone I could trust. I've been an automotive mechanic for almost 20 years. Air filters really have no affect on tuning for a carb in most, if not all automotive 4 stroke engine applications. Some people tell me that I might need to tune, or possibly rejet, if I were to run an aftermarket air filter, from the stock one, on a 2 stroke motor? For reference I am asking about my SXR 800, which is stock. But this question was intended for 2 stroke, PWC motors in general. |
