650sx impeller...

Hi Harry,
I have the 650sx noted below (ported cylinders, HC head (~200psi), full coffman pipe and dual cooling, 46mm Mikuni) and wanted to know if you would still recommend a 9/17 skat trak impeller (as indicated in your online info)?
Thanks.

Re: 650sx impeller...

We recently revisited the impeller testing for high performace K650 setups. In short, the head & shoulders best prop (today) is a repitched Solas "I" prop. Out of the box, the I is too steep for any K650, but with a little adjustment to the pitch, it out accelerates, out speeds, & out hook-ups anything else. The Skat 9/17 is still far better than stock, but the Re-pitched "I" prop is the hot ticket. It bears noting that while the Skats worked better with a bored nozzle, the Solas seems to prefer the stock diameter nozzle. We carry re-pitched Solas "I" props for $259.

Respectfully, Harry Klemm

Re: 650sx impeller...

Thanks, Harry.
1. can you accept paypal?
2. for my information, what is the ID of a stock 650sx nozzle? I am not sure if mine is bored or not.
3. Is Solas "I" the same as "KA-SC-I" ?
Regards.

Re: 650sx impeller...

We do accept paypal. The stock nozzles are usually around 84/85mm (they are not perfectly round). The KA SC I is the same.

Respectfully, Harry Klemm
