posting pics, need help.....I'm old.

Are there directions somewhere on how to post pics. I did get some uploaded into the gallery but can't figure out how to add a pic to my thread ? Not sure of what the URL of my images are ??? I normally get them from my desktop.What is the URL of my image. Sorry don't mean to sound stupid ....
Please help

I'll ignore that "old" remark...

In order to post pics here, you must first post them somewhere else.

see - it's not confusing at all!

Go to photobucket.com and sign up - then you "upload" your pics there.

When they are there, then you hover over the pic and a menu comes up.

Pick the DIRECT LINK option. and click on it to COPY the link.

When this site asks for the link, PASTE it there.

Peeps who keep pics on there computer or desktop, tend to find it easier to upload as attachments. Still gets the image in the thread but readers have to click the thumb to get the full size.

Let me re-phrase, I can't see good, my hearing is getting poor, I don't play fair, and I have a long list of charcter defects.....
Thanks for the " photobucket " description , I never have done that.
