any help would be great or refer best place to get serviced in MN
thank you | Did you lose any RPMs? a lost power valve will cost you 5mph per valve. So if both valves dropped then it would explain your 10mph loss.
If you gained rpms then check your impeller, small dings wont effect your speed by 10mph. Cavitation will though, looking at your impeller on the outer edges of the blade. Are there pits or areas that look like some one held a sandblaster up against it?
I have some tech info at www.WaveEaterProducts.com that will walk you through how to check your Power Valves. the fact you have an 800cc engine makes it a little more dificult since you'll need to remove your exhaust manifold to get to the inspection covers. To make removal easier run the engine for a minute to heat up the block, This will make the manifold bolts come out easier. Email me f you need anymore help.
