new ski 750sx

I just bought a 94 750sx, so I might be selling my 91 550 pretty soon. Anyone have any parts for a 750sx that they want to sell? I could use some stock or aftermarket for the ski before I take it out.
thanks, Joe

Re: new ski 750sx

I haven't got a chance to ride it yet, right now I'm doing a bit of fiberglass work and carb cleaning. I need to get an intake grate before I take it out.
and other stuff before its good to go.

Re: new ski 750sx

Congrats on the "new" ski! I have the same year ski. Just added the WetWolf Freestyle cone to mine, but haven't gotten a chance to ride it yet.

The only thing I have for stock parts off mine is the factory intake box.

Re: new ski 750sx

Mine was posted on here for $2100 if I remember correctly. That was 3 years ago though. It was stock except for the AC handpole.

Re: new ski 750sx

My dad found it online early one morning 20 min after it got listed, luckly my dad worked about 15 min from where the ski was at, he picked it up on his break for me for $1000. I bought a new toploader intake grate for it to go with the pjs rideplate, I also installed a primer kit, it fires right up now! I did a little fiberglass work too, I gonna go take it up to the lake and ride it for the first time this weekend. I was thinkin of converting it to dual carbs from an sxi, how hard is this? do i need a different cable?

Re: new ski 750sx

You need a different manifold.

Re: new ski 750sx

yeah I know i would need a manifold, I would buy it with the carbs, are the dual carbs that great anyways? I rode a sxi before and I'll have to ride mine to see the difference but I read theres a 12hp difference between an sxi and sx, I can't see a extra carb makking that big of a difference.

Re: new ski 750sx

I wouldn't bother with dual carbs, unless your going for a little higher top speed. I used to own a 95 and a 2002, takes a long time to figure out how to keep the nose down at full throttle. I finally figured out how after about 2 years, I bought a superjet!
Pipe and re-jetting the carb would be a better investment.
