Tampa trip

Hey all! Looks like we will be making another trip down to Tampa this year. We were in Tampa a couple of years ago and we were lucky enough to sit out in the bay on the ski's and watch the air show. Wheee, we can't wait to go since it looks like we are suppose to get 7 inches of snow today.

Anyways, I am going to be there from March 16th through the 3rd of April and the wifie and kids are going to be there the 21st-28th. My dad lives on Treasure Island and he is nice enough to put us up for the time we are there. We are looking for things to do both on the water and off the water. Wondering if any of you folk have any input about what to do or where to go both on anf off the water for some fun? Last time we were there we launched strictly from the park in Fort Desoto and stayed from there to clearwater and in Tampa bay for our riding. We would like to do some different areas and wondering if you had some ideas?

We were thinking of doing a day on the beach at Caladesi Island. Packing a lunch and just relaxing on the island. Wondering if I can just drive right up and beach it or do I have to go get a permit for the day?

Any tips or anybody going to be riding during those dates post up. I would love to get out and meet you for some riding.

Riding north up in the Caladesi area to Anclote is a favorite. You need to check out our site and the forum. There are many places available to ride. Go to www.tampabayjetskiclub.com and check sign up for the forum there also.
