NorthEast riders coming down south!

Hey guys. Myself and 3 friends are roadtripping from NewHampshire to Tampa on March 11th, and plan to stay until the 18th. We're bringing 2 SXI's, one 750SX, a 650SX and an HX. We are SUPER excited as it's been a miserable winter up here!!

Any suggestions, recomendations or places to avoid will be greatly appreciated. Odds are we'll play in the gulf over the weekend and maybe head south and ride the Atlantic beginning of the next week.

Hope to meet some of you guys next month!

Re: NorthEast riders coming down south!

If you are coming from Tampa.... Dunedin Causeway is where most of us ride. You can definitely find someone to ride with on the weekend, and sometimes during the week. It is basically a "beach launch" (for lack of a better term).

Another place (boat launch) in South St Pete:

Re: NorthEast riders coming down south!

Nice, I appreciate the info. We have a beach cart and had planned to beach launch where ever we go anyway.

I just want to make sure we don't launch in an uptight spot and get told to leave. Well, not that it would matter too much since we're not tied down to any one area.

Keep the info coming

Oh man. Wait till you guys see the baller trailer we're bringing down. It holds the 4 stand ups and the HX with room to spare. Legit GIANT jet ski trailer, not some hacked up landscape trailer with ski's piled into it.... One week away!!

Re: NorthEast riders coming down south!

I am heading down to FL with this crew of guys. We are excited to come. Hope to meet up with some guys and ride hard! We will be bringing helmets, and all kinds of arm/leg splints, bandaids, neosporin, ice packs, pain killers and other quick fixs to keep us going all week! Heres some pics of the trailer!

Re: NorthEast riders coming down south!

Well... snag in the plans with that beauty, so we have a huge enclosed trailer that we're bringing.... towed by a Tahoe. I don't think the Mazda would pull this trailer down a hill empty, let alone loaded to FL, but she sure would try like an SOB!
