Just wondering, anyone up around Jacksonville that casually rides? Looking for anyone who wants to group up with a few friends and get some water time along with some good times. Anyone around?

There is a group up in St Augustine called the Ancient City wave riders. You can contact the president at rkaman@bellsouth.net. They are a nice group that like to ride. Are group is planning a trip to st Augustine for Labor day weekend.

my wife and i usually ride on saturdays...mostly out of the ramp by the ferry. we pack a cooler and a lunch and ride up to cumberland island...or fernandina marina..or down to st augusatine. lately we've been hangiing out at the sand bar on the north end of little talbot islan

I have another thread out seeing if anyone is up for putting in at Lions Head and riding down to the landing for lunch. Then ride back up

try putting in at sisters creek and riding to hugenot, there are tons of sand bars at low tide where you can beach you skis or go to hugenot and put in at the beach. always tons of riders out there on the weekends. also try vilano in st.augustine, very nice there.

Where is the put-in for Sisters Creek? Near the intercoastal?

at the end of the intercoastal north. to drive there take 9A to heckscher east, about 10 miles on your left.

I go to Jax every other weekend and ride at Hugenot or Valano(sp?) and Matanzas. Lot of us up there ride....PM me is you want to hook up with us sometime.

Yea will do as soon as it gets warm enough for my fiance to handle it on the back of the ski. Its getting cold enough to where she doesn't like it right now. The weather up here is starting to really get cold to where the water is staying at about 60ish. A little rough. I might just store the ski till it gets warmer in February.
