Egmont Labor day weekend 9-5

Hey Everyone,

The time has come again. On Saturday sept 5th (Labor day weekend) We will be heading to Egmont for a all day get together. last time we had 5 ski's two boats, a total of 18 people. We would love to see more ski's out there this time. i will be bringing subs to eat for myself as it seam the grill is a little late getting started. Its gonna be a great time and i hope everyone can join in...

Had to buy a new vehicle this week after my car broke down. Got a trailer hitch installed on the new Ford and was finally able to pick up my ski around 3:00 Saturday. Was heading back from the repair shop in Tarpon Springs so I decided to make a detour and return to the scene of the crime. Launched at Seminole, and had a great solo ride. The ski is running and looking great again. I'll be on the water for sure for an Egmont trip next next Sat.

I know I won't have my ski running by then. The engine is on my porch half torn apart. Hopefully it is just needing new bearings for the crankshaft and not a new crankshaft. We will see soon.

hey everyone,

So this is what i have so far......

my buddy josh as a dock right here so we will load up his boat with the goods and we will be on our way.
we should be getting to egmont around 12-12:30 and we will be there till sun set. once at egmont we dock in between the two piers on the north end (bayside) http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=nl (27.601939, -82.759854 paste in search tab)

If anyone wants to meet up before 11:30 to ride around then go to josh's dock at 11:30 that sounds good too.

I've got a couple of friends in town from Ohio on Saturday. They wanted to check out Egmont, so I'll probably launch out of Fort Desoto with my wife around 11:00. My friends will probably just get a ride on the Egmont Ferry which also leaves Desoto at 11:00. We'll probably be on the island sometime around noon.

Man can't beleive this was happening. I rode saturday from ana maria isl to the sand bar, beer can, then mar vista back to brandenton shores. But Sunday we when to Egmon.. to late. I flew from new orleans just to ride. Well always another year; we were 5 ski . My buddies always cuising every sunday. Cool -life is good. I missed the riding but I be back just for another weekend. thx.
