Hello From The Hurricane

Just joined this forum. Been riding for 20+ years. Still have an old Kaw 550 in NY, but we have recently relocated to Coastal, N.C.(Pamlico -Neuse Region) and have 2 SeaDoo's here.
Developing our new resort business has limited our time exploring the region, but we note an absence of pwc in this area considering the vast region to explore.
Looking to hear from anyone in this area.
Also noted that some folks have been looking for riding areas in NC.
We would like to work with someone to organize rides out of our area.
Check out our new website and drop us a line.

Regards, Bill & Jan The Hurricane Resort

Hi, and welcome to the site!

Hmmmm...you should get in touch with Bill "The Hurricane" Haig, who not only lives in NC, but is a fantastic racer, and all around great/nice/very well-liked guy....he'd make an excellent poster child for your resort.

Do you have a website so we can check your place out a little more? Maybe some pictures if not?

Re: Hello From The Hurricane

Won't let me pst a URL probably because I am a newbie, so just google bbhurricane. Pamlico region resort or something like that will come up in the first few sites. Just updated the site and started a little blurb under "Boating" about the potential here.

We are from Ontario NY and skied the Lake Ontario and Sodus Bay up there. Used to take my 550 up to the "lake of the isle" and ski in the St Lawrence jumping Freighter wakes.

Re: Hello From The Hurricane

Followed up on Bill"The Hurricane" Haig and noticed he is in APEX?. If that's right than he is about 2 hours from our place. Found his website-but no way to contact. Could someone pass on our info and ask him to drop a line?
Would love to hear from him- possible arrange for a trip here.

Regards, Bill

Re: Hello From The Hurricane

Is he a Marine? We support the Military. Our son is a Lance Corporal schooling in Athens, Ga and been on ski's since a baby. But I still kick his but in a race. Last time he was here, we raced back from the Sharaton in New Bern and I got passed him on a better line into our harbor. He was on the 04 RXP and I was on Momma's GTX-so he was a little embarassed.
