Sounds like fun. We'll probably be out there anyway, but look for us on the red and blue FX waverunners. We'll keep an eye out for a group.

Which day/days you think you'll be out there? The 29th is a Sunday.

Re: Cat Island & Ship Island Ride

We tried to go this morning, but after looking at the weather, decided to pass. Weather calling for 70 percent rain with a northerly flow. That is bad news because the storms will pop up onshore and head out over the water, possibly catching you between where you are and where you launched. Looks like we made the right call too. Its about noon now and the storms are already heading towards the islands. With a southerly flow, you can see any storms forming to your south, giving you plenty of time to get back to the launch. This is why I always make the final call the morning of the ride.

Re: Cat Island & Ship Island Ride

have they taken the restrictions off of Ship?
I heard last week that because Ship Island is historical site or something, it has to have no pollution around it. Meaning no jet skis. Not sure about boats.
