Watercraft racing fans can now watch classic PWC races online
EASTPOINTE, MI - The American Power Boat Association (APBA) announced this week that it has added a new APBA PWC Television feature to the ABPA web site. The new online TV network will broadcast past APBA personal watercraft racing events 24 hours a day.
The APBA will air entire shows from past PWC events, including competitions from the old APBA Great Lakes Tour, Midwest Watercross Tour, Pro Watercross Tour, APBA Yamaha Hot Water Tour, XSTV shows and events from the APBA National Tour. The APBA will also broadcast select events live on its PWC TV.
For the launch of APBA PWC TV, the APBA has release four videos, with one or two new full length shows being added each month. Each show will also be available for purchase through the APBA Online Store.
"We have a very large archive of old race videos," said Patrick Mell, APBA PWR Director of Marketing and Events. "Many of the shows were produced way before the invention of DVD, so the conversion process will be a little work, but we will get them converted and slowly release many cool old racing videos...This will help both the APBA, its race promoters and the racers show current and potential sponsors the great exposure they can receive from getting involved in PWC racing."
