A 717 Mile Adventure on a Yamaha Waverunner

This past August a friend and I covered 717 miles from Milwaukee Wisconsin to Marblehead Ohio across the Great Lakes in 3 1/2 days. The complete story is in the Jan/Feb 2009 Issue of Ride PWC Magazine. Here is a short video of the adventure if anyone is interested.

Wow, that would be quite the adventure. I would love to do that someday. I bet you got tired of sitting after awhile.

I grew up in sandusky/put-in-bay area that place is gorgeous that time of year! I truly miss the crystal clear water. Nice work.

The Sandusky Bay and Lake Erie provide a tremendous variety of opportunities for PWC riding. Did you ever try the Sandusky river at the west end of the bay? It's a nice 15mile ride down to Freemont Ohio. Joel and I have done the 60mile round trip from Cedar point to Freemont many times.

So where do you normally ride? Lake Michigan or Lake Huron?

Great ride guys! Down here in the south we ride from Mobile Bay to Panama City (only 10-12 hours) but fun non the less. My plan one day is to ride the intracoastal from Mobile to the border of Mexico (two weeks ride?). Congrats.

Have you ever considered KeyWest to Cancun? With a fuel stop in Cuba? I understand it is difficult to get a Cuba visa but there are only two open water runs and they are less than 120miles each.
