Where to Buy in South Carolina???

Can anyone recommend a good PWC dealer in SC? We already have one Honda and would like a second, but need to find a good dealer. We live near Myrtle Beach, SC and TRIED to buy from Red Line---but the sales guy disappeared and left us standing there until we were frustrated and walked out. I'm willing to travel nearly anywhere in the state for the right deal.

Thanks!

Richard B.

Re: Where to Buy in South Carolina???

Thanks! I'm trying to give Redline another chance----could have just been a bad sales guy. I got some numbers from them today, but they're about $850 higher than a dealer I've worked with before near Greenville. I'll also call the Florence group tomorrow.

Now all I have to do is decide between the new Honda 15, or last years 12??? Decisions, decisions!

Re: Where to Buy in South Carolina???

I spoke with Jud, the sales manager today. I'm impressed with him. Nice guy and he seems genuine. So I'm convinced that I may have just gotten a bad salesman initially. Although, they're still about $300 off the best quote I have for a '07 F-12 turbo. HOWEVER, now I'm thinking I may get the smaller sporty "R" turbo instead.

I'm going to post over on the Honda forum to solicit some opinions, but here's my dilemma. I already have an '04 F-12 turbo and love it. The reason I'm buying a second is so that we can have an extra to group ride. My wife wants to sit on the back and has no interest in driving. My son is 19, almost 20, and has no interest in being a rider, only wants to drive. So do I get another F-12 3-seater, a R-12 2-seater? I'm leaning toward the 3-seater, but having never ridden a 2-seater I don't have the experience to say we wouldn't enjoy that just as much as the three seater, if not more.

Re: Where to Buy in South Carolina???

I live in Conway, SC.....wouldn't buy from Redline......I too had horrible service there. And they wouldn't even come close to the price I got at Performance East in NC. Just like everywhere else here at the beach, they want top dollar for everything!! Good Luck!

Re: Where to Buy in South Carolina???

I already purchased from Red Line and had to work pretty hard to get a good price, but I got it.

But I have to say my first impression there was less than inspiring. It wasn't until I called and spoke with the sales manager that I was given proper attention.

I may or may not purchase from then again. It depends on the deal and how I'm treated.
