maps.google.com will put you right on it, you can see everything there is to see.

Stand up or sit down ski?

Re: little river maps

ive been to 33 st boat ramp and murrells inlet and the boat access at the intercoastal waterway under the bridge. Went to the 33street access this weekend and it was so crowded and stupid people riding so close it pissed me off but you had to ride so close due to the inlet. Fun place to go and sitt on the beach but not a fun place unless u got a stand up or a fancy new sit down ski. Murrells inlet is nice. My thing was with the intercoastal waterway branches off in some many places i didnt know what the best places to go were,.

Re: little river maps

Hi saw your post from awhile back....looks like you are familiar with Myrtle. I'm heading to Myrtle Beach this weekend...would like to bring the Ski .

1. Need to find out where best I can launch for Beach access ?

Preferably close to where I'm staying which is at Dunes Village - 52nd Ave. Looking to ride near the resort so I can switch off with some folks.

Know a boat ramp close to this area ?

2. Any other cool areas to ride in Myrtle ?

Thanks!

Re: little river maps

If you are staying up by Dunes Village, there ain't no ocean access near there. Your closest ocean access there is probably going to be Murrells Inlet. About 15-20 miles South of there. Nice inlet to ride through, and the ramp is about a 5min ride to the ocean. There are also unlimited miles of Intracoastal waterway, river, and creeks. I'm not sure if there are any ramps around where you are staying, but there are 3 ramps in Socastee, which is just on the south end of Myrtle. Or the Wacca-Wachee ramp in Murrells inlet. The riding here is awesome, this past weekend I spent Saturday on the ocean, and Sunday on the river. It was 80 and sunny. The water still has a little chill to it, but not too bad. I'll probably ride all weekend again if the sun is shining.

sorry i didnt see your post, this section sometimes looks dead. ive been to murrells inlet , its like the guy said. The one a murrells inlet the best place the one in cherry grove is a very small inlet. have to go out at high tide. but how to get there is you go north on bizness 17 north and get off the exit to cherry grove and go all the way to the last traffic light/beach and take a left and head north and look for boat landing signs to your left. that street i mention is the right street. cherry grove good for gettting out to the ocean quick and murrells inlet great for if you want to go out to the ocean or stay in the laggoon area. where its less ruff.
