How late in the year can you ride at Lake Norman?

We're heading to that area in a couple of weeks and was wondering what the water temperature will be like there at that time and if there are still people riding the lake this late in the year?

Hartwell is still in the 80's, should be ok till mid november. with a wetsuit, year around minus January/February unless you just have to out.

hartwell was about 78 this weekend. Not much water left! it looks to be 15-20 feet down. perfect weather.

well, the lakes are under 70 now. Unless you get a day in the 80's, you probably need a wetsuit for max comfort.
