Anyone in the Oak Island/Wilmington Area?

Hey all! I'm getting ready to buy a ski and looking to start a group in the Oak Island/Wilmington area. Been out riding a bit with a group of three people already. We are looking to do an ICW ride towards the spring. Anyone interested?

I don't live there but my family spends a week there in the spring each year. We cruise the ICW a little and play around in the surf off the west end of the island. I hardly ever see any other PWCs out there.

There aren't many PWCs around but we are trying to get more people interested. Know of about three or four definitely that would ride and possibly more. Trying to get in touch with larger groups in SC to make it more fun. I'm still shopping for ski but I've been out with friends year round.

Thanks for the info. I'm looking at an XP or an RX at the moment. Used to ride an 98xp so I'd like to stick with that. Good ski to keep in mind.

Well I'm a little late to the party, but if anyone still checks this thread, I'm three islands down in Sunset and often ride up toward Oak Island. Keep me in mind if ya'll are getting a group together.

Yep, we will be riding tomorrow. Got a ski so need to get a feel for it. PM sent. If not tomorrow, we will definitely be out a good bit. Warm enough for me.

Agreed, once it gets a little warmer. Rode the other day, way too cold! Needs to be at least upper 60's at least. I'll let you know next time.

I'm South of you near M.B. If you ever come down this way let me know. We got unlimited miles of rivers, big and small. And Inlet and ocean riding. It got cold this week, But I went out the past 2 weeks to play. It was almost 70 last week. This week it's supposed to be 40. I don't think I'm going out this week.
